How do I migrate custom presets into DxO FilmPack on a Mac?

This information applies to all versions

To migrate preset files from one laptop to another it's needed to perform the following:

Actions with the first computer, from which presets will be copied

  1. Open Finder application
  2. Navigate to ~/Library/DxO_Labs/DxO FilmPack .../Presets folder. The easiest way to reach it is:
    • Press the 'Go' tab in the Finder menu
    • Select 'Go to Folder...'
    • Follow this path to reach the following folder:  ~/Library/DxO_Labs/DxO FilmPack .../Presets
  3. Select all files with the extension ".preset"  (typically all files except "p_session.xml").
  4. Copy and save them to the shared location, to which your second computer will have access. It may be iCloud, other cloud storage, SD card, USB Flash drive, etc.

Actions with the second computer, where presets will be migrated:

  1. If previously you didn't run DxO FilmPack ... on this computer, then launch it and close it.
  2. Open Finder application.
  4. Select all previously stored preset files from the shared location and paste them into the opened folder ~/Library/DxO_Labs/DxO FilmPack .../Presets.
  5. Launch DxO FilmPack .... All migrated presets will be visualized.
