Why can I processes fewer photos simultaneously in DxO OpticsPro 10 than I could in previous versions ?

We've decreased the maximum number of simultaneous processes to provide better memory management and optimization. This helps prevent DxO OpticsPro from running slowly, or rendering your system unresponsive.

To achieve this, we changed the rule that computes the maximum number of simultaneous images that can be processed. The rule considers the number of CPU threads and the amount of memory in the system. It then defines the maximum number of simultaneous images that can be processed in order to prevent the application or the system from becoming unresponsive.
