What preliminary steps do I need to take before using DxO ViewPoint ?

To achieve the best possible results in handling distortions, you must first apply the Lens Corrections available in the host applications (DxO Optics Pro, Photoshop/via Camera RAW, or Lightroom) to your image before using DxO ViewPoint.

For JPEG files, be sure that your camera’s lens correction features have been activated.

Also note that the use of DxO ViewPoint as an external editor for Lightroom means that any RAW workflow will be interrupted, given that the Adobe program will create a TIFF or JPEG image file before opening the image in DxO ViewPoint.
