What charging methods does the DxO ONE support?

Although we strongly encourage the use of the included accessories for optimal performance, the DxO ONE supports other charging methods.

Laptop and desktop computers

The DxO ONE will charge when plugged into the USB port of a laptop or desktop computer, although it will be at a slower rate than when using a charger plugged into an outlet. Laptop output current varies from manufacturer to manufacturer, but on average you can expect the charging rate using a laptop to take twice as long as a wall outlet (and even longer if transferring data).

Using other cables and adapters

Be careful when using adapters and cables from other devices as they may not be up to the same specifications required by the DxO ONE. No harm will come to the camera but you may find issues such as slow or intermittent charging to start manifesting. Apple adapters have been tested to work when paired with our included cable, and any adapter/cable rated at 5v/1A will most likely work as well.

Battery packs

Most battery packs that are rated at an output of at least 5v/500ma should, but are not necessarily guaranteed to work. You should always try to use the charging cable that came with your ONE, or at least a cable you know to have worked previously.

Below is a list of some battery packs that we have tested and confirmed as working with the DxO ONE.
