How do firmware updates work?

Firmware updates are delivered simultaneously with app updates. When you update your DxO ONE app through the Apple App Store, it will usually come with a new firmware update for your camera that includes new features and performance enhancements.

In most cases the DxO ONE app will inform you that a firmware update is ready for download, but you can also check if your firmware is current by navigating within the app to Settings > Application > About.

You will see the firmware version on the About screen. If you see "Update Now" or "Download Now," you can select it and your camera will begin the firmware update. If you see "Up to date," then you're already using the latest available firmware.

  • Before you update, ensure that your DxO ONE has at least a 70% battery charge.
  • Ensure that you have free space on your iPhone.
  • Do not unplug the DxO ONE from your iPhone until the upgrade is complete.
  • Your camera will restart multiple times during the process, which may take up to two minutes. Please be patient.
