What should I do, if my DxO ViewPoint plugin missing from Photoshop CC or Photoshop Elements?

This information applies to versions 3 and newer

You should copy the plug-in files which are installed by the current version of DxO ViewPoint.

They should match your version of DxO ViewPoint.

For Windows:

  • C:\Program Files\DxO Labs\DxO ViewPoint 3\PhotoshopPlugin-automationdvpv364.8li
  • C:\Program Files\DxO Labs\DxO ViewPoint 3\PhotoshopPlugin-filterdvpv364.8bf

to this destination folder (for Photoshop CC):

  • C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Plug-Ins\CC\DxO ViewPoint 3 our 4

to this destination folder (for Photoshop Elements):

  • C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements....\Plug-Ins\DxO ViewPoint 3 or 4

For macOS:

Copy these files:

  • ~/Applications/DxO ViewPoint 3.app/Contents/MacOS/PhotoshopPlugin-automationdvpv3 (or 4).plugin
  • ~/Applications/DxO ViewPoint 3.app/Contents/MacOS/PhotoshopPlugin-filterdvpv3 (or 4).plugin

to (for Photoshop CC):

  • ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Plug-Ins/CC/DxO ViewPoint 3 or 4

to (for Photoshop Elements):

Please note: the folder ~/Library is hidden, it can be accessed using Finder menu item Go, then choose Go To Folder... and type ~/Library
