Why is my ViewPoint plugin missing from Photoshop CC or Photoshop Elements?

you should copy the plug-in files which are installed by the current version of ViewPoint

They should match with your version of ViewPoint

For windows:
C:\Program Files\DxO Labs\DxO ViewPoint 3\Photoshop Plug-in\PhotoshopPlugin-automationdvpv364.8li
C:\Program Files\DxO Labs\DxO ViewPoint 3\Photoshop Plug-in\PhotoshopPlugin-filterdvpv364.8bf

  • to this destination folder (for Photoshop CC):

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Plug-Ins\CC\DxO ViewPoint 3 (or C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Plug-Ins\CC\DxO ViewPoint 3 if you have Adobe Photoshop 32 bit)

  • to this destination folder (for Photoshop Elements):

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements....\Plug-Ins\DxO ViewPoint 3

For mac:
Copy these files
~/Applications/DxO ViewPoint 3.app/Contents/MacOS/PhotoshopPlugin-automationdvpv3.plugin
~/Applications/DxO ViewPoint 3.app/Contents/MacOS/PhotoshopPlugin-filterdvpv3.plugin

to (for Photoshop CC):
~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Plug-Ins/CC/DxO ViewPoint 3

to (for Photoshop Elements):

Please note: the folder ~/Library is hidden, it can be accessed using Finder menu item Go, then choose Go To Folder... and type ~/Library
