Why is the size of the files processed by DxO PureRAW increasing so much? Does the size remain important even after having subsequently processed the images with DxO PhotoLab for example?

This information applies to version(s): 1

When DNG output is used, DxO PureRAW outputs files in linear DNG, which is an image format with 3 color information by pixel (when a RAW file only has one color information by pixel), without lossy compression applied. Consequently, the output DNG file is bigger than the original RAW file or JPG compressed output.
