Where will the executable for Nik Collection by DxO be located on my Windows machine for the standalone Nik Collection by DxO software, or to be used with the “export to application” within DxO PhotoLab 1 and DxO OpticsPro?

Within DxO PhotoLab 1 and DxO OpticsPro, you can process a picture with a plugin of the Nik Collection by selecting the desired application through the "Export to application' option and one of the following paths here:

C:\Program Files\DxO\Nik Collection\Analog Efex Pro 2\Analog Efex Pro 2 (64-Bit)
C:\Program Files\DxO\Nik Collection\Color Efex Pro 4\Color Efex Pro 4 (64-Bit)
C:\Program Files\DxO\Nik Collection\Dfine 2\Dfine 2 (64-Bit)
C:\Program Files\DxO\Nik Collection\HDR Efex Pro 2\HDR Efex Pro 2 (64-Bit)
C:\Program Files\DxO\Nik Collection\Sharpener Pro 3\Sharpener Pro 3 (64-Bit)
C:\Program Files\DxO\Nik Collection\Silver Efex Pro 2\Silver Efex Pro 2 (64-Bit)
C:\Program Files\DxO\Nik Collection\Viveza 2\Viveza 2 (64-Bit)

With the 4 standalone Nik Collection software (Silver Efex Pro, Analog Efex Pro, HDR Efex Pro and Color Efex Pro), it is possible to create shortcuts on your desktop or task bar by doing a right click on each .exe file located in these folders:

  • C:\Program Files\DxO\Nik Collection\Analog Efex Pro 2
  • C:\Program Files\DxO\Nik Collection\Color Efex Pro 4
  • C:\Program Files\DxO\Nik Collection\HDR Efex Pro 2
  • C:\Program Files\DxO\Nik Collection\Silver Efex Pro 2
