The reason you need to use a TIFF, and not a JPEG, is because the TIFF technology used for the non-destructive workflow contains the original image + output image + Nik parameters, whereas JPEG does not allow integration of the necessary metadata inside its file.
Why I cannot use JPEG files for the non-destructive workflow? Why do i need to use a TIFF for this workflow?
