How do I reduce or deactivate the sharpening enhancement?

This information applies to version(s): 2

Click on the chevron in the Processing popup, the RAW PROCESSING section, or the DxO Optical Correction sub-section to expand the options.

It is possible to activate or deactivate the sharpening correction when using HQ, PRIME, and DeepPRIME.

Two sharpening levels can be chosen for DeepPRIME :

  • Toggle ON = Global lens sharpening
  • Toggle OFF = Only fine details enhancement.

No other levels of sharpness are available.

DxO PureRAW has been designed as a 1-Click solution. If you are looking for finer control, we recommend having a look at DxO PhotoLab instead, which is using the same correction engines like DxO PureRAW, except for DeepPRIME XD, which is available in DxO PhotoLab 6 ELITE Edition only, but with a comprehensive set of controls for RAW conversion and image processing.

Note: If you do not want to apply any optical correction, you can choose NOT to use the optical module by accessing the module manager from the "DxO Modules" button located next to the "process" button, and choose to apply "None of the above (corrections won't be applied)" in the options for "Select the equipment used to take the image XXX ".
