How do I adjust or deactivate distortion correction in my images?

This information applies to version(s): 1, 2

In the Processing popup, RAW PROCESSING section and the DxO Optical Correction sub-section, user can click on the chevron to expend the options.

You can activate or deactivate the distortion correction when using HQ, PRIME, and DeepPRIME.

You can choose 2 sharpening levels for DeepPRIME :

  • Toggle ON = Global lens sharpening
  • Toggle OFF = Only fine details enhancement

No other level of distortion correction is available. DxO PureRAW has been desigend as 1-Click solution. If you are looking for better control, we recommend to have a look at DxO PhotoLab instead, which is using the same correction engines like DxO PureRAW but a comprehensive set of controls for RAW conversion and images processing.

Note: If you do not want any optical correction applied, you can choose to NOT use the optical module by going in the module manager from the "DxO Modules" button next to the process button and choosing in "Select the equipment used to take the image XXX " to apply "None of the above (corrections won't be applied)".
