Should I use DxO PureRAW or Nik Sharpener for sharpening?

This information applies to all versions

If you want the best automatic demosaicing, denoising, and optical correction tool for RAW files, we highly recommend using DxO PureRAW.

The rendering will always be suited to the equipment used to capture the image.

On the other hand, we recommend Nik Sharpener:

  • If you are using JPEG, or TIFF files.
  • If you want to apply local adjustments to your image's sharpness.
  • If you are using equipment that is not supported by DxO PureRAW.
