The new Nik Collection Panel is seamlessly integrated into Photoshop, unlike the Filter menu, which only launches the Nik plugins. This panel functions like any other Photoshop panel—you can dock it or let it float freely in your workspace. It offers the following advantages:
-
Launch the plugin’s interface directly
-
Apply your favorite presets with or without opening the plugin interface
-
Reapply the last edit from your previous session, with or without launching the interface
-
Stay visible within your Photoshop workspace, keeping your Nik plugins always accessible
-
Prevent issues with unsaved changes, which can sometimes occur when opening plugins from the Filter menu
The Nik Collection Panel was introduced with Nik Collection 8 for Adobe Photoshop. Previous versions used the Nik Collection Palette or the Nik Selective Tool. These remain the recommended options when using older versions of the Nik Collection.
