Why is there a magenta cast on my images when I use DeepPRIME/DeepPrime XD denoising after upgrading to macOS Ventura on my M1 & M2 Mac? (macOS only)

This information applies to version(s): 1, 2, 3

macOS 13 (Ventura) introduced a regression that gives a magenta tinge to images using DeepPrime/DeepPrime XD denoising when exported using the Apple Neural Engine on M1 & M2 Macs.

Therefore, starting with DxO PhotoLab 5.7 & 6.2 and DxO PureRaw 2.5, the default setting in Preferences for “Advanced/DeepPRIME acceleration” is the GPU instead of the Apple Neural Engine.

Apple is looking into the issue and we need to wait for the result of their investigation. As soon as the issue is fixed, the default setting will revert to using the Apple Neural Engine again. If you have manually switched to the GPU to avoid this issue, we recommend using the default option again, so you can benefit from this fix as soon as it is made available.
