I want to (re)install Nik Collection, but get a message, that the same version is already installed. (Windows only)

This information applies to versions 4 and newer (Windows only)

This may be due to leftover elements from a previous installation. Please follow the steps below to fix this:

1. Please completely uninstall Nik Collection using the "Add or remove programs" option in the Windows Control Panel.
   • If there are any problems during uninstallation, please use the Windows Troubleshooting tool.
2. Use the Nik Cleaning Tool for Windows before reinstalling.
